Bossier’s “First Lady” Adele Walker, 75, Passes August 6, 2014 – City, Family & Friends Mourn Loss

The City of Bossier City administration sadly announces that Adele Walker, wife of Bossier City Mayor Lorenz Walker, has passed away at the age of 75, due to medical complications.

Mrs. Walker died at her home at 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 6th, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing.

According to the Bossier Press Tribune obituary, there will be a private, family and personal friends only, memorial service for Adele.

The Walker family wishes to thank all for their prayers, thoughtfulness sincere expressions of sympathy and support.

Additionally, they wish to thank Dr. Randy Harper and Mrs. Amy Hollingshead for their energetic and thoughtful support to Adele and the family.

Mayor Walker asks in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the charity of one’s choice.

The thoughts and prayers of the mayor’s staff, city department heads and city employees are with Mayor Walker and his family.
